Get Involved!
There are many opportunities for high school students to volunteer with us. We offer no paid positions. Learning Pals is entirely student-run, so leadership opportunities go all the way to the top. The leadership jobs below are a great opportunity to have more responsibility. The best way to start is always as a tutor! If you have an idea for a role you would like to have with Learning Pals, email us and we would be happy to schedule a meeting to talk with you about it.

Reasons to Tutor
1. Community service hours! Most schools, including NEST+m, Brooklyn Tech, and LaGuardia give their students community service hours for time spent tutoring through Learning Pals. If you have questions about your particular school, email us at [email protected] or ask your guidance counselor.
2. Leadership opportunities! There are many ways to find leadership opportunities at Learning Pals, and since we are completely student led, many of these jobs have large responsibilities. Most of our opportunities are aimed at applicants have prior experience working with Learning Pals students, so tutoring is a great way to get started.
